What this recording covers
Claver describes what he believes a technocratic economic system would look like once AI, robotics, and on-chain infrastructure mature. He argues that humanoid robots and AI agents working continuously without the biological limits of human workers would remove the per-capita ceiling on GDP growth, making the overall economy exponential. Claver explains that this deflationary pressure from technology should lower the cost of goods, but that central banks have historically offset it by expanding the money supply. In a fully on-chain economy, he argues, universal basic income becomes feasible because all transactions are visible and resources can be allocated dynamically, unlike in the Soviet model, where resource misallocation was invisible and uncorrectable. He also notes that the pace of innovation will accelerate to the point where entire industries can emerge and be displaced within a few years.
